OUR STORY
Indomitable Women 4 Agape Life (IW4AL) was birthed in 2016, a vision started by Cheryl Houston who simply asked a few close friends if they were ready for change.
We are a sisterhood working on Kingdom building who have experienced hardships (i.e. homelessness and domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental illness). We decided that we wanted to do better and help others in need. We are indomitable women which means we are overcomers and more than conquerors.
That same year, we hosted our first Adopt-a- Shelter program in serving the homeless. This grew quickly to not only feedings, but providing resources needed to help such as employment services, housing referrals and health needs to include onsite HIV testing. IW4AL also donates gently used clothing and hygiene products at each program.
IW4AL programs help all people in need. Our long term goal is to open a resource center. This can only be done with your help.

IW4AL is a non-profit 501c3 that serves on various committees within the Interagency Council on Homelessness (ICH) and a member of the National Coalition for the Homeless. IW4AL has established partnerships with other organizations who are also focused on ending homelessness to include: New Hope Housing, Catholic Charities, Resume Writings & Solutions, Women's Collective, UnderHer and Rising Hope United Methodist Church.
IW4AL is a philanthropy driven non-profit focused on the betterment of all people. We do not discriminate based on race, national or ethnic origin. Our fundamental purpose is to assist those in need by obtaining the tools of success and defeating the fight against homelessness.
IW4AL strives to put forth the work in decreasing the statistics.
